Patrick J. Devine

Attorney Patrick J. Devine brings 20 years of legal experience to the aid of people charged with a crime in Southern Maryland. Having previously served as an Assistant State's Attorney in Charles County, Mr. Devine understands the tactics used by prosecutors, a perspective which he uses to his client's advantage in developing a successful defense strategy. In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Devine has taught Business Law at Charles County Community College, now known as the College of Southern Maryland. He also lends his time and expertise to the Maryland Volunteer Lawyer Services, a nonprofit organization helping low-income Marylanders in need of civil legal assistance.

William C. Fanning Jr.

With experience in Southern Maryland courts in Charles, St. Mary's, Calvert, and Prince George's County, attorney William C. Fanning Jr. concentrates his practice in family law issues with an emphasis on divorce, child custody and support. Mr. Fanning previously taught at the College of Southern Maryland as an Adjunct Professor teaching Family Law & Paralegal Studies. When not representing individuals and families on behalf of Devine & Fanning, P.A., Mr. Fanning can be found serving as a pro bono attorney at Maryland Volunteer Lawyer Services or the Charles County Bar Association Family Law Clinic.
